I was reading (and listening) to the Message version today. As I posted on FB, this is "Good advice from the Master!"

Ok, I'd like to share some things that I've been feeling over the past couple of weeks. I hope it's encouraging!

A couple weeks ago, I was talking with my daughter, asking her where her faith stood and I could feel my spirit bubbling up and I got so excited I could hardly contain it. I sensed the Lord moving and saying "the harvest is ready !" Hearts are open during times like this and are ripe for the comfort only Jesus can provide! Now is the time!

I’ve also been hearing reset! I’m sensing a reset!

So here’s a shocking verse:

“But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:48‬ ‭NLT‬‬

How many times do we say, “… But nobody’s perfect…“ using it as an excuse for bad behaviour or lack of personal growth? It seems to me, that this “perfection“ is where we are meant to be heading, whether or not we have “arrived”.
